01 · IPv4 cost planning
Lease or buy IPv4? Run your numbers.
Compare cash outlay over the same term. Start with Elisteka's published lease prices and enter your own purchase quote.
256 addresses · 36 months
Cash-outlay crossover: 61.0 months.
Leasing requires €2,623.60 less cash outlay over this term. Buying retains an asset with potential resale value.
Purchase inputs are assumptions, not market quotations. This compares cash outlay; buying retains an asset with potential resale value.
Your prefix, block count, term and assumed lease price will be carried into the enquiry.
Assumptions and limitations
Excludes VAT, financing, ongoing ownership costs, lease setup fees and resale proceeds. Crossover assumes a constant lease price. Changing prefix size restores Elisteka's starting monthly price. Prices and calculations use euro cents. Entered lease prices are assumptions; availability and final terms require confirmation.

02 · Published starting offers
Elisteka IPv4 starting lease prices
RIPE address space for professional network use. These are one provider's advertised offers, not a market-wide price range.
| Prefix | From / month | Per IP / month |
|---|---|---|
| /24 | €104.90 | €0.4098 |
| /23 | €199.90 | €0.3904 |
| /22 | €389.90 | €0.3808 |
Prices exclude VAT where applicable. Final pricing depends on availability, prefix history, lease term and technical requirements. Per-IP figures are rounded to four decimal places.
Price history — awaiting verified data
No historical series is published here. A future comparison needs dated, independently sourced observations separated by registry, prefix size and transaction type. Advertised offers and completed transactions describe different things.

03 · IPv6 capacity planning
Plan your IPv6 /32 customer capacity
Choose a customer prefix size, keep space in reserve and see how much capacity remains.
65,536 total /48 prefixes in one /32.
42,428 remaining after your planned customers.
Mathematical capacity estimate for equal-sized prefixes. Routing and delegation requirements need a separate review.
Your customer prefix size, planned customers and reserve will be included as planning assumptions.
Assumptions and limitations
Reserve is rounded up to whole customer prefixes. This does not create assignments, RIPE Database objects, route6 objects or ROAs, and does not guarantee global routing. /64 is a mathematical option, not a universal customer delegation recommendation.
04 · Seller proceeds
IPv4 broker fees: what do you keep?
Compare the amount reaching the seller. Enter the written fee quote and any seller-paid escrow or other transaction costs.
Broker: €0.00 · Seller escrow share: €0.00 · Other: €0.00
Total entered transaction costs: €0.00.
Example inputs only, not an Elisteka quote. Zero means no cost entered, not a free service. Percentage applies to gross sale value; use fixed-amount mode for a quoted minimum fee. Changing fee format resets the fee to zero. Excludes taxes and currency conversion.
How to compare broker fees
1. Establish who pays and when
Ask whether the broker charges the seller, buyer or both. Record any fixed fee, percentage, minimum charge and the event that makes payment due. Check exclusivity and cancellation terms.
2. Separate escrow from brokerage
Confirm the escrow provider, fee split and release conditions in writing. Do not assume a broker holds client funds. Escrow charges belong in a separate line of your comparison.
3. Compare equal scopes
Establish whether the quote includes buyer qualification, transfer coordination and technical preparation. Confirm who pays any applicable registry, membership or administrative charges.
4. Calculate proceeds before committing
Subtract every seller-paid transaction cost from the gross sale value. Account separately for taxes and currency conversion. A high advertised price per IP does not by itself establish the amount you will receive.
Elisteka's actual commercial terms are separate from this generic calculator: see the current seller fee schedule and seller intake terms.
05 · Manual review checklist
Check IPv4 space before you lease
Document the prefix, observation date and result of each check. No single database proves that a prefix is suitable for every service.
- RIPEstat — registry information is a starting point; obtain evidence of authority from the provider.
- Spamhaus checker — a result covers the queried item and that service's lists, not every reputation system.
- Hurricane Electric BGP Toolkit — compare observed routing with your agreed setup.
Manual checklist, not a live IP scan or clearance certificate. Selections are not saved. Review the full prefix where possible; sampling can miss affected addresses. Email delivery, routing and geolocation depend on third parties. External tools open in a new tab and have their own coverage and terms.
