SBL
A Spamhaus Block List entry usually names a range Spamhaus associates with sending spam. The removal request has to show that the sending has stopped.
Spamhaus
Spamhaus removal sits inside IP delisting. We identify the Spamhaus zone, you stop the cause, and we send the removal request. Elisteka charges €129 per /24, excluding VAT, only after successful removal, for technical investigation, remediation coordination and preparing the request. Spamhaus itself charges no delisting fee.
Zones
The zone name changes what has to be fixed. We do not treat every Spamhaus code as spam from your mail server.
A Spamhaus Block List entry usually names a range Spamhaus associates with sending spam. The removal request has to show that the sending has stopped.
An Exploits Block List entry usually follows a compromised host. The host has to be cleaned, or taken off the network, before a removal request is credible.
A Policy Block List entry is often a policy listing, including space that is not meant to send mail directly. Removal depends on Spamhaus’s own policy for that listing, not on a promise from us.
A CSS listing is another Spamhaus spam listing. We treat it like any other Spamhaus zone: identify it, stop the cause, then ask Spamhaus to review.
FAQ
No. Spamhaus removal is a request Spamhaus accepts or refuses. We prepare and send it after the cause has stopped. If the entry stays, there is no Elisteka fee.
It uses the IP delisting price: €129 per /24, excluding VAT, charged only after a successful removal. Spamhaus does not charge for delisting. The Elisteka fee covers investigation, corrective work and preparation of a removal request, invoiced only after a successful outcome.
For addresses leased from Elisteka we can write as the holder and abuse contact. For a prefix you hold, we need a signed letter of authorization that names the prefix. That is the same rule as the main IP delisting service.
Yes. Elisteka lessees can ask for a DNSBL check, including Spamhaus where the listing is visible from a normal DNSBL query, at no charge. It is a sample, not a monitor.
IPv4 leases: inventory. IPv6 leases: IPv6. Both can ask for the free lessee check. Sponsored resources keep ROA, route objects, reverse DNS and LOA inside sponsorship.
