IPv6 Provider Independent resources are registered to an eligible End User, distinct from leased IPv6 address space. Elisteka coordinates the sponsoring-LIR relationship; RIPE NCC evaluates assignments.

New IPv6 PI request preparation: €49 once, waived for eligible active IPv4/IPv6 lessees. Transfer-in: no Elisteka transfer fee; annual sponsorship is separate.
Process
Describe your organisation, existing resources (where applicable) and intended network use.
Elisteka reviews eligibility and the documents required for an End User agreement.
Where appropriate, the request is submitted or updated under RIPE NCC procedures. Approval and timing are not guaranteed.
Questions
No. PI is an independent resource assignment to the End User, while an IPv6 lease grants contractual use of a provider-held prefix.
A larger PI assignment requires RIPE NCC acceptance of the relevant justification. No specific larger size is promised.
A one-time preparation fee applies to new IPv6 PI requests, waived for eligible active Elisteka IPv4 or IPv6 lessees.
